Bluemont, VA. Deck overlooking the Shenandoah Valley. This project started with the demolition and disposal of an existing trilevel deck with a bright Orange stain – Wowser! Our client host many executive branch officials in the private and government sector as a retreat get-a-way, and wanted something unique for high caliber clientele. We used a Trex Transcends Spiced Rum decking with Vintage Lantern border to stay with an earth tone / natural feel. The Signature railing blended nicely with the back drop and avoided hinderance of the spectacular views. This deck was the first deck to incorporate a true radius bent aluminum railing as well as radius bent border. The herringbone pattern on the flooring added the unique pattern to break up the multi-directional boards. The sitting area consists of radius bent benches also trimmed with low voltage lighting. We also removed the flagstone patio around the house and pool to re-seat and grout all of the stone.
