Project 7
Trex Transcends Tiki Torch Decking • Signature Black Handrails • Exposed Aggregate Patio
Winchester, VA. Deck overlooking the apple orchards of Frederick County. Removal and disposal of the builder grade deck was the first step of this project. Our client wanted something different than a square corner deck and patio area, therefore we broke out the compass and started with a few radius designs. The homeowners are cartographers by trade therefore we incorporated a stamped concrete inlay of a compass with precision North South East West settings. Trex Transcends decking with Signature railing finished off the deck space. Exposed aggregate concrete patio houses the lower landing space featuring a 20 ft. wide x 8 ft. tall wood burning fireplace with built in wood boxes. We flanked the patio with 2 entry stairs with masonry columns and low voltage light fixtures.
